42. Spotlight on Community: Tell Me More featuring Food on the Table (SA Charity)
Food charities are seeing more people seeking help than ever before. The cost of living is having an impact on food security, and charities are seeing people coming through their doors for the first time in record numbers.
This is putting additional pressure on charities to be able to meet this increasing demand, which is predicted to rise. This type of work can’t happen without the dedication of amazing charities along with their armies of incredible volunteers.
Join Ben as he speaks with Roxy Jones and David Evans from the South Australian charity, Food on the Table, and hear about their tireless work to provide meals to people throughout South Australia who are struggling with food insecurity and experiencing homelessness.
They also speak about Food on the Table’s major fundraiser, Soup and Sleep as well as their other initiatives throughout the year.
Enjoy this next instalment in our Spotlight on Community series!
